Volunteer
Volunteering with the Branch Out Together gives you a great opportunity to make a real difference in peoples lives. You will be able to gain valuable experience working with children and young people with autism. Volunteers can also access the same training programme as our Support Workers. It is a chance to meet new people, have fun and learn new skills.
Volunteer at our services
Volunteer on our board
All of our services benefit from the support of volunteers. If you are looking to volunteer directly with the children and young people we have evening, weekend and holiday opportunities available in Edinburgh, East Lothian and West Lothian. We also value the support of volunteers out with our services. We have opportunities available for those who would like to volunteer in our office or give us support with our website and social media pages.
If you would like to volunteer with us or simply find out more about our opportunities please contact Amanda Sinclair, Care and Support Manager a.sinclair@lothianautistic.org.
Board members are the strategic drive for the organisation and are expected to show a commitment to the organisation’s values. Board members provide guidance and support to the organisation’s staff through the CEO, provide a link with the society’s membership and ensure the needs of our service.
We are looking for volunteers with an awareness of autism or disability issues, particularly the impact on families and carers. We are particularly keen to recruit trustees who have experience in finance, HR, social care and/or social work roles.
