What is a support worker?
Support workers are a vital part of the staffing structure at Branch Out Together. They provide direct support for the young people who use our services. A support worker is a fun, enthusiastic individual who wants to make a difference in young people’s lives; someone who is able to be motivated in a fast moving, energetic environment. A support worker is willing to get involved in the things that our young people are interested in.
How Can I get involved?
We are always looking for support workers to join our service teams. If you are interested in any of our services and would like to enquire about vacancies contact Amanda Sinclair on a.sinclair@lothianautistic.org.
“ For me it’s a great for experience . I was anxious when starting, as I had not worked with young people before. I now feel really happy when working. I have made a great bond with the staff and young people”
“I have worked with Branch Out Together for 3 years and really enjoy it. I have been involved with the different groups and watching the young people grow up and progress” I always feel like I am having fun and laughing while working”
